Great site, Top! I got referenced to it by another old "RPV'er", Jeff Tonne. I joined 2nd RPV Plt, HQ Bn, 2nd MARDIV in 1987. Most of the platoon was at Pax River picking up the Pioneer system. I joined them up there. The next 3 years where quite the whirlwind with several trips to California and one memorable one to Morocco. Jeff Tonne and I were the first 2 operational force Marines to conduct a RATO launch. (He threw the switch. He was a SSgt and I was a Cpl, RHIP) I still have my half of the tension link on my keychain. I retired as a Gunny in Jan '04 and some of my best stories are still about those guys! Please pass my regards to Bob Bohannon, he was our XO, I think when Jerry Gelling was CO. By the way, one of our COs was Major Thomas Waldhauser, currently CG 1st MARDIV. Like I said, a great bunch of guys. Semper Fi, Jim

Great site. I can't wait to watch it evolve. Thanks to all the UAV personnel, past and present, for their forward vision and unwavering vigilance in keeping our Marines safe. 2nd RPV Co. '87-'89, '91

From an aviation electrician to a Communications Officer, I have all of you NCOs and SNCOs to thank. I loved my time with both VMUs. VMU-2 96-98, VMU-1 99-01

Well, looks like I'm late to the party. The site looks great, got some nice old school pics up there too. By the way everything is loading pretty quick here in Iraq.
